Computer Science

The immense progress in the field of Computer Science has been an ever accelerating process. A group of well qualified, experienced and highly motivated faculty is engaged in providing quality education to the future computer engineer and keeping them abreast of the fast technological development. The Department provides state of the art computing facilities to the students well equipped computer laboratories for subjects like C and Java Programming, Computer Graphics, Database Management System, Data Structures, Analysis & Design of Algorithms, Software Engineering, and Linux and X-Windows.


Mechanical Engineering

The department of Mechanical Engineering remains among the premier departments of Laxmpati Group of Institutions. The department has kept pace with the rapid development of computer-aided methods of design and manufacture with state-of-the-art robotics and CAD/CAM facilities. The laboratories in the department are recognized in a number of areas as testing facilities. The department also has workshops for training in smithy, carpentry, welding, and machine tools.

Electronics and Communication

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, which has a fine blend of experienced as well as young and dynamic personalities as faculty, is involved in providing quality education at the Undergraduate (UG) level. They have an unceasing commitment towards students, helping them learn, grow, develop, and achieve their goals, whether it is becoming a professor, an entrepreneur, or joining industry. The research interests of the faculty members encompass a wide gamut of sub-disciplines of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Collaboration with faculty members from other disciplines, both within and outside the institute, is encouraged.

The lab facilities and the infrastructure are regularly upgraded and are well supported by the institute and the industry. The department is actively engaged in teaching activities in the field of Communication, Industrial, Advanced Control Systems, Signal Processing, and Energy Studies. It has a broad-based UG curriculum. The syllabi of the courses are continuously updated, and the laboratories are modernized to reflect the rapid changes in technology. Our undergraduate students are drawn from across India.

Practical Labs

  • Analog and Digital Electronics Lab: Basic principles of electronic circuits are assimilated in two sessions (semester 3 and semester 4) of circuit's laboratories. Digital Principles, Basic IC's and digital systems design including Flip-flops, Code converters & Counter ICs, ADC, MUX & DEMUX, RAM & ROM chips.
  • Microprocessor Lab (8085 and 8086): Trains the student in basic programming techniques, interfacing with peripheral devices (8253, 8254, 8255, 8251, 8271, ADC, DAC etc).
  • Analog and Digital Communication Lab: PPM, PWM, PAM, PCM, PSK, FSK, Hamming Code Receiver & Transmitter & Fiber Optic Trainer are few worth mentioning technologies available in the Communication System and Circuit lab. Hub, Switch, connectors (RJ-45 & BNC), cable clamper, and all equipment used in networking and data communication.
  • VLSI Design Lab: Latest technology CPLD and FPGA (kits) are available in the VLSI Design lab.
  • Digital Signal Processing Lab: CPPM, PWM, PAM, PCM, PSK, FSK, Hamming Code Receiver & Transmitter & Fiber Optic Trainer are few worth mentioning technologies available in the DSP lab.
  • Microwave Lab: This lab is designed as per the course in the 7th semester, and all worth mentioning technologies are available in this lab.
